CEO Responsible for: Financial scenario modelling to inform both day-to-day and long-term strategic/financial decision-making Recording transactions in XERO in a timely and accurate manner to relevant account code; project and funder Timely preparation of required financial reports (Balance Sheet; Income/Expenditure and Cash Flow) for Board of Trustees meetings (every 4-6 weeks) Grow our corporate volunteer base through developing partnerships with local organisations Salary:

Full Time - 36 hours per week Company Description Gasworks Dock Partnership (GDP), a registered charity based in the East London Borough of Newham, is leading the regeneration and development of Cody Dock into a Creative Industries and Community Quarter. GDP’s vision is to rehabilitate Cody Dock and create new workspace, visitor facilities, ecology/heritage/arts/educational space and public gardens, not only providing jobs and public facilities but also fostering greater community cohesion and civic pride through restoration and celebration of the area’s waterways, ecology and rich industrial heritage. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Finance Manager Matching, batching and coding of purchase invoices into XERO accounting software Management of accounts receivable process including raising and chasing of sales invoices Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records. Identify and investigate any discrepancies or variances, taking necessary corrective actions. Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve queries or obtain further information. Prepare reports as required that are submitted to funders Liaise with GDP’s Accountant to prepare monthly payroll and necessary financials for Board of Trustee meetings and for end of year audit Ensure appropriate statutory financial filings are completed in a timely manner Work with GDP’s CEO to implement and maintain financial scenario forecasting regime to facilitate and inform business decision making and for contribution to grant application funding Office Manager Identify and maintain partnerships with organisations and other relevant groups aligning the needs of GDP with the organisation's corporate social responsibility aims and objectives to deliver volunteering events Work with organisation and other group representatives to develop and agree programmes of work for the volunteering events Liaise with other team members to ensure these events are resourced appropriately and project team leaders are briefed as necessary Assisting and supporting CEO and designated Board members with fundraising activities including preparation of funding applications and required reports for successful applications. Essential experience: Minimum 1 year practical experience in use of XERO and related tools including XERO Projects. General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles, specifically accounts payable/receivable principles Display an understanding of business principles Strong project management experience. Strong on performance/budget management with the ability to set and monitor boundaries. Deadline for applications:
