Reporting Relationships Responsible to Operations Support Manager. Job Purpose To provide efficient and timely administrative support to the Operations Support Manager in the smooth running of the department. Principal Accountabilities Complete general day-to-day office tasks e.g. opening post, filing, photocopying, and data input. Scan incoming paper documentation onto the Practice IT systems and move items into the relevant teams folder ready to be filed. Maintain and process incoming and outgoing patient Lloyd George paper records. Input new patient registrations onto the Practice IT system. Maintain a sensitive approach to patient care, ensuring the maintenance of confidentiality at all times. Carry out duties as per working policies, procedures, and protocols. Complete any other duties as required commensurate with the grade. The Practice is open from 8.00 am until 6.30 pm, with regular extended hours surgeries. It is expected that all staff will work on a rota basis, according to the needs of the service. Person Specification
Qualifications
Level 3 education including maths and English grade C or above. Competent user of ICT systems. Experience
Knowledge of confidentiality, equal opportunities, and cultural sensitivity. Able to manage workload and manage own time. Working within a healthcare setting. Working knowledge of EMIS or other electronic patient record systems. Personal Qualities
Ability to relate well to others, patients and carers, staff, managers, and other professionals. Be flexible and able to adapt in allocation of work at short notice. Able to work as part of a team.
