Highly competitive (Inside IR35) Role Overview: A leading offshore wind developer is seeking an Offshore Project Engineer to join their team for a 12-month contract. The role will involve autonomous remote engineering and management responsibilities, as well as the oversight of offshore installation work. You will be focused on a range of activities related to offshore foundations and substations. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the engineering and installation phases of offshore wind projects, including foundation installation and substation work. Documentation preparation and oversight of execution in monopiles, jackets, grouting, hammering, and the steel/installation of transition pieces. Create, implement, and monitor change management processes to assess, document, and approve engineering design decisions. Maintain the design decision log. Contribute to and maintain the Design Basis: technical documentation focus collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Leading the innovation program, working closely with external 3rd parties and reporting progress to the project management team. Develop marine models using Shoreline and GM OPSIM to analyse and compare different transportation & installation scenarios. Provide technical reports on weather downtime analysis to aid in construction strategy development. Manage action registers for technical meetings, monthly package reviews, and Pre-FEED stages. Coordinating package clarifications for Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) RFIs. Preferred Qualifications: Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). At least 3 years previous offshore wind experience or background in marine engineering - Having delivered similar large scale projects. Proficiency in Shoreline, GM OPSIM, or similar marine analysis software. Requirements: In date GWO Certifications Full right to work in the UK Full UK driving license
