*Job Overview* Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people? As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and operations within a children's residential setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to children in our care. We are looking for a leader who can fulfill the below duties: Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the home Provide leadership and guidance to a team of support workers Prioritize safeguarding children and young people and ensure positive outcomes through creative and innovative methods Ensure compliance with Ofsted's regulatory standards and guidelines in childcare delivery Develop and implement care plans for children in line with best practices and to meet all their needs Oversee daily care activities Manage case management processes effectively Has a strong focus on team performance and development using team supervision, career conversations and feedback to support staff and identify improvements Share on-call responsibility with the service manager Qualification: Proven ability to lead and manage in a childcare residential setting NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in child residential settings or willing to work towards Strong knowledge and understanding of Children's Home Regulations 2015 and Ofsted's Guide to Children's Home regulations including the Quality Standards Skills: Strong and resilient, solution-focused persona and ability to make decisions under pressure Flexible working attitude with the willingness to cover shifts when needed Ability to implement policies and processes as needed to improve the service Ability to deliver reflective supervision to staff members Personal Qualities: A passion for delivering high-quality care and making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
