£40,000-£45,000 (based on experience and qualifications) Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the development and operation of children's residential homes. Provide positive leadership, ensuring policies and procedures align with Ofsted regulations and current legislation. Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, creating a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued. Oversee the recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal, and training of staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Develop and maintain care plans that meet the individual needs of children, including their cultural, emotional, medical, and dietary requirements. Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards, delivering outstanding inspections and maintaining the highest level of care. Manage health and safety standards across all homes, promoting a safe environment for both staff and children. Support young people in achieving their full potential, helping them develop life skills and resilience. Promote effective communication across the team, ensuring clear documentation, logbooks, and regular team meetings. Key Requirements (Social Care)

Enhanced DBS check (required). NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Registered Manager experience with a strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Regulations 2015. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to child protection.
