• This is a role for a leader who understands what it really takes to support young people with the most layered and demanding needs.
• The home is registered with both Ofsted and the CQC, supporting children and young people presenting with a combination of learning disabilities, complex clinical care needs and ph.
• Leading a multidisciplinary team including support staff and clinical colleagues, ensuring care plans reflect each child's learning disabilities, medical and developmental needs.
• Manage difficult conversations and represent the service externally.

Skills and requirements

• Current or recent experience as a Registered Manager of an Ofsted registered children's home or supported living service.

Confirmed role details

• For that reason, our client is not necessarily looking for a clinician to lead the service (although clinical qualification and experience is a bonus).

Candidate fit

• A confident grasp of safeguarding, MCA, Gillick competence, restrictive practice and positive behaviour support frameworks.
