Your local fire station will have a map detailing the boundaries for the five minute callout time, please pay them a visit to see whether you fall into this category.Many On-Call Firefighters are in full time employment and have an agreement with their employer to leave work should they be alerted to attend an incident. Others provide cover during nights or weekends.
