What you'll do
Are you a skilled Senior Project Engineer looking to work with a team of like-minded professionals? We're focused on delivering reliable LAN, WLAN, and WAN solutions using products from vendors like Cisco and Vodafone. You'll be working on projects for one of Vodafone's largest Enterprise and Global customers.
You'll plan, design, and implement network solutions that meet our customers' business needs. As the Project Engineer, you'll oversee the delivery of customer network projects, ensuring all change control and mandatory processes are followed. You'll produce and maintain health and safety compliant documentation (RAMs and Point of Works Risk Assessment) and, when needed, get hands-on with staging, commissioning, and installing new network equipment.
You'll also produce detailed documentation for customer sites and network solutions, keep track of project activities, and provide regular updates to management and key stakeholders. Managing and coordinating third-party suppliers will be part of your role, as well as presenting the solutions you've delivered to team members and colleagues.
You'll provide technical support and assistance during pre-sales activities, help develop and maintain departmental procedures and customer best practices, and keep your technical knowledge up to date, recommending changes to customer technical standards. Working cooperatively with team members and colleagues, you'll contribute positively to team and organisational goals.
Who you are
- Experience working with (configuring and implementing) predominantly Cisco LAN, WLAN and WAN solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Project Management experience and experience of creating RANs documents/risk assessments and an awareness of health and safety.
- Practical and theoretical experience of routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF,
- Self-motivating individual with the ability to develop strong customer relationships as well as functioning in a team environment
- Full SC Security Clearance or the ability to obtain
