Onboarding Compliance Executive, flexible on any GTUK location outside of London - hybrid working NEW GROUND WON’T BREAK ITSELF. The Agile Talent Community (ATC) brings together our Independent Consultants into one central place enabling us to manage, engage and deploy people from the Community, through a central Agile Talent Team, onto assignments to support and complement the skills and expertise of our permanent teams. As an Operations and Compliance Executive, you’ll work closely with the wider team to develop and shape the Community by proactively coordinating the full bench life cycle, ensuring compliance obligations are met while delivering to key SLA’s. This role also includes managing all aspects of IR35 compliance, to provide an exceptional experience and safeguard the firm from risk. A look into the role As an Onboarding Compliance Executive within our Agile Talent Community Team, you will: Prepare and send contractual documents using your attention to detail to ensure quality is to the highest standard. You’ll also track the return of paperwork and communicate outstanding information for investigation. Serve as the primary point of contact for queries, guidance, and operational support, including escalations and technical queries related to IR35. You will collaborate with other teams involved in the onboarding process to ensure we are able to provide the best level of service to our stakeholders. Manage IR35 approvals and appeals, ensuring compliance with IR35 regulations. Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on IR35-related matters and drive business awareness on IR35 regulation and compliance across the firm. Maintain the learning platform and associated tasks, lead as point of contact for any issues with the platform and resolve as appropriate. Conduct audit and control checks across various data sets such as independence checks, PI cover, invoices, and mandatory training completion. Carry out regular compliance reporting and analysis to produce management reports and resolve any issues identified. Get to know our system inside out. As a Super User of our management system, you will support the wider team and stakeholders in understanding and adhering to best practice. You will monitor integrations and be responsible for investigating the root cause of failures and seeing a resolution through to completion. Update documentation, tools, and guidance with a continuous improvement approach. Stay up to date with relevant best practice guidance and legislation. Coordinate payroll compliance processes and carry out monthly checks and approvals. Take the lead on training new team members and providing a well-balanced induction experience. Ad-hoc tasks/project work as required. Lead team meetings, training sessions and contribute to team-wide initiatives such as organising Community events. Build strong relationships with Key Stakeholders and within service lines and other operational support teams. Knowing you’re right for us Joining us as an Onboarding Compliance Executive, the minimum criteria you’ll need is previous experience in an onboarding and compliance role involving the management of IR35 compliance. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way. You’ll be a strong communicator, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and proactively, being solution focused with a passion for providing excellent service. Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice guidance, particularly related to IR35. Experience with audit and control checks, as well as compliance reporting and analysis. Experience with training and onboarding new team members. A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to update documentation, tools, and guidance as needed. Experience using case management systems and a willingness to learn and become a Super User of the contractor management system.
