Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join a private hospital in Leicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert pharmaceutical care to oncology patients, ensuring safe and effective medication management, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispensing and reviewing chemotherapy and oncology medications Providing advice to medical staff and patients on medication regimens Conducting medication reconciliation and ensuring compliance with treatment protocols Monitoring patient responses to treatments and suggesting medication adjustments Collaborating with the oncology team to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements:
Qualified Pharmacist with experience in oncology GPhC registered Strong knowledge of chemotherapy medications and protocols Excellent communication and organizational skills Must have the SACT passport Ability to work independently and as part of a team
