Accurately match One Stop and Tesco products to defined Convenience competitors using in-house tools. Map Competitor products to internal Commercial hierarchies & maintain variant groupings. Review and update existing data to ensure we provide accurate information to the business for reporting purposes. Provide recommendations to the business on pricing strategy, providing robust financial impact data. Assist in the development of new IT pricing solutions & reporting. Build effective relationships with the Commercial teams to help them review and understand Matching & Mapping Policies and inform future decision-making. Manage ad hoc queries related to Matching Policy. Work with cross-functional teams to develop tools and provide feedback that supports continuous improvement of Matching Policy governance/productivity. Liaise with external agencies to manage quality of information received – providing expertise & guidance when required. Liaise with off-shore team to share knowledge and agree day-to-day priorities. Balance and prioritise work across short-term requests and longer-term initiatives. Act as an expert on how shoppers view products when making purchasing decisions. Remaining up to date on relevant ranges and competitor news. Technical Skills:
Commercial acumen. Numerate. Confident user of Microsoft Excel. Experience:
Experience working in convenience retail. Good understanding of product ranges and brands.
