We are offering a 39-hour permanent contract. In this role, you will ensure our colleagues are trained in using MHE and health & safety matters. You will offer a great induction for all new starters with a driven and engaging approach. You will be responsible for

Deliver specialized training to all DC operatives on all MHE to RTITB standards and manual handling training across all levels of the team, ensuring correct techniques are consistently applied. Assist with the induction and training of all new colleagues to the DC. Ensure all refresher training is completed on time and produce detailed training plans in advance to ensure all training is captured. Monitor and maintain the training database ensuring all information is accurate and up to date. Liaise with the management team regarding the selection of colleagues identified for up-skilling. Conduct TRACA and MHE observations to ensure all colleagues are following the training received. Assist in accident investigations involving MHE to ensure the correct next steps are taken to prevent future recurrence. Manage, monitor, and review DC Health & Safety performance ensuring that you actively contribute towards achieving a positive Health & Safety culture within the DC. Ensuring all moral, legal, and financial controls are in place to the correct standard as sited in the H&S policy. Creating and reviewing risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work. Work closely with the Sites Services Manager on understanding MHE repair requirements. Attend, participate, and be well-prepared for all meetings requiring your attendance both within and outside your function. Coordinate external provider training when available, e.g., QCF. Maintain health & hygiene standards internally and externally. Maintain confidential information in line with the Data Protection Act and Company policy. Demonstrate, promote, and encourage the correct Leadership skills, Values, and behaviors. Remain flexible with working hours and location to support the need of the business. Be friendly, approachable, and reliable in your work. Have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Great communication skills both written and verbal. Good knowledge of Health & Safety compliance. Good Coaching skills. Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint. Good knowledge of Warehouse operations.
