Job Purpose: To provide tutorial support and guidance, including formative and summative assessment, in the relevant subject discipline(s) to a range of students on their selected programme of study and across multiple Access to HE Diplomas. This role is subject specific, and we are particularly interested in applicants with the following subject specialisms: CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice CIPD Associate Diploma in People Management CIPD Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning and Development Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Mark learner work in accordance with the requirements set by the awarding organisation and provide high-quality developmental feedback. Answer learner queries in a timely and professional manner. Assist with moderation activities when required. Ensure that learner support records are accurately maintained. Ensure all contractual E&D and H&S policies are adhered to at all times in relation to learners. Ensure that the required processes are completed and in line with contractual deadlines to ensure that learndirect meets quality and accreditation requirements. Attend and contribute to standardisation meetings to ensure consistency in approach. Assessing criteria against qualifications, where appropriate. Actively feedback issues connected to courses, collateral and systems to ensure continuous improvement of these. Learner satisfaction is above 75% good. Any other reasonable request in the interest of the business. What we are looking for in you (Essential): Detailed knowledge of all qualification standards in relevant subjects. Proven ability to motivate and progress learners. Experience assessing on the CIPD programme. Degree (or equivalent) in Human Resource Management. Occupational competency in the qualification standards being assessed. Assessor qualification. Ability to problem solve using own initiative. Ability to research supportive answers to learner questions. Digitally skilled in Microsoft Office, email and other commonly used learning platforms. Operates consistently within company procedures. Trustworthy and approachable. Excellent written communication skills. Commitment to continuous professional development. Excellent team-building skills and interpersonal skills. Why work with Us?
