OOH Veterinary Surgeon (7 on and 14 off) - Dewsbury
• OOH Veterinary Surgeon role at a Tier 3 hospital in the market town of Dewsbury • Modern, purpose built practice with some of the highest quality surgical equipment in York-shire • Extensive range of facilities including digital radiography and ultrasound rooms, 2 dental suites with dental radiography, an in-house laboratory, MRI and CT scanning and much more • Shift pattern of 7 on and 14 off
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Out Of Hours Veterinary Surgeon to join a Tier 3 hospital in the minster and market town of Dewsbury. Lying on the River Calder with great transport links to the big cities of Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield this is a great place to commute to and from.
Our client has a modern, purpose built practice with some of the highest quality surgical equipment in Yorkshire. The practice was recently upgraded to include a larger waiting room leading to 7 brand new consulting room, a nurse's occupational treatment room and a separate pharmacy.
The practice offers an extensive range of facilities including digital radiography and ultrasound rooms, 2 dental suites with dental radiography, 3 surgical suites, an in-house laboratory, MRI and CT scanning, endoscopy, separate cat, dog and rabbit wards, am isolation unit and much more.
You will be joining a friendly and experienced team of Veterinary staff. You will work alongside a Vet, a Registered Veterinary Nurse and a Patient Care Assistant on-site all night. Your duties will include looking after in-patients and seeing emergencies that present overnight.
The Rota: • Full time - 7 on and 14 off • Monday - Friday: 8pm - 8am, Saturday/Sunday: 6pm - 8am
