• Independent, award winning, proactive small animal practice located in the heart of North Wales • Cutting-edge technology, including a dental suite with an x-ray unit, ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house laboratory, tonopen, isolation facilities, and separate cat and dog wards • Experienced team including an advanced certificate holder in small animal medicine • Excellent salary up to £50,000 • Full time rota with 4 shifts on and 8 shifts off

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon to join a proactive, award-winning, independent small animal practice in North Wales. Situated in a historic cathedral city, the location provides easy access to the stunning Eryri National Park, a vast area of 823 square miles renowned for its diverse habitats, rare flora and fauna, and the highest mountains in Wales.

This dynamic and progressive practice places animal welfare and care at the forefront of its mission, balancing compassionate and ethical veterinary care with a thriving business model. With a commitment to achieving the highest standards in medicine, diagnostics, and surgery, the team ensures patients and clients receive exceptional advice and care. Collaboration is at the heart of the practice, fostering a supportive environment where everyone's voice is valued.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly and compassionate approach, with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Experience is essential, alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic attitude, with a willingness to further develop your skills. The practice encourages evidence-based patient care, ensuring the highest clinical standards are maintained.

The role offers a full-time rota of four shifts on and eight shifts off, providing a balance of rewarding work and ample downtime to enjoy the surrounding area.

The Package:

• Superb salary of £45,000 to £50,000 with opportunity for investment/ partnership • 5.6 weeks including Bank Holidays • RCVS and VDS fees covered • CPD allowance and CPD encouraged with a team sharing approach after CPD • Work based pension • Private healthcare including BUPA mental health care • Generous staff discount
