As a Business Consultant, you will work to deliver quality outcomes for our clients in the private and public sector, conducting business assessments, providing targeted and practical recommendations, designing and implementing operating models, and developing governance and organisational structure aligned to strategic outcomes. You will work either as part of consulting teams or individually. Crucially, you will have the opportunity to advise clients on their business transformation, building key business consulting skills and developing your experience through exposure to a variety of clients. This is a Lead Business Consultant role where the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a variety of business consulting engagements focusing on designing and/or enhancing operating models and associated governance and organisation designs, coupled with providing guidance, supervision, and expertise across a team in implementing the specified design. The consultant will also support the wider practice capabilities through proposition development. This role can be based from any of our 19 UK-based offices, but this is a hybrid role where you can also work from home. We expect you to travel 1-3 days per week to CGI/client site (on average). Your future duties and responsibilities:

This high-profile and demanding role includes: Provision of consulting advisory services to clients Designing solutions to support and enable transformation Playing an active role in client management Owning delivery of client commitments Proactively supporting the implementation of new operating models Managing and communicating business change You will work closely with relevant teams such as Business Strategy, Sustainability, Digital Architecture & Data, IP, Global Technology Operations service delivery teams and carry a large degree of accountability for delivery excellence. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

As a Lead Business Consultant, you will be an experienced business consultant with a background in operating model design. We’re looking for proven capability gained through working for a large-scale strategy and/or operations consulting firm, with a track record in delivery excellence. The successful candidate must demonstrate experience in: Leading and delivering high-quality business consulting engagements and identifying areas for improvement Applying operating model methodologies and approaches for achieving efficiency gains and other strategic objectives Developing and implementing change management strategies to support client transformation initiatives Leading client meetings, interviews and/or workshops Supporting complex transformation projects and leading small teams as part of a wider engagement (e.g., as workstream lead) Contributing towards Business Development and Practice Development activities (such as proposition development) Managing stakeholder relationships Solving complex challenges with a highly analytical mind Managing engagement timelines, e.g., with relations to specific deliverable(s) or workstream(s) The ideal candidate may also demonstrate experience in one or more of the following areas: Governance and organisational design Business analysis Service design Process excellence Benefits realisation Skills:
