About the Role We’re seeking a new Operational Improvement Manager who will cultivate and empower a culture of growth, efficiency, and safety by leading the design, implementation, and nurturing of operational strategies. This role focuses on building supportive, compliant, and efficient processes that foster collaboration and continuous improvement. By aligning operational practices with industry standards and regulatory guidelines, the Operational Improvement Manager ensures teams have the resources and guidance to thrive. Through active engagement and field-based support, this role inspires operational excellence, guiding teams toward sustainable and innovative solutions for success. Key Responsibilities Include Developing, modifying, and communicating work practices, procedures, and standards for field-based activities, ensuring they comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements. Liaising with field personnel to monitor, audit, and continuously improve work practices. Leading, mentoring, and developing the operational team to ensure high performance and alignment with business objectives. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the team. Assisting in the development and implementation of strategic direction and annual operational plans. Identifying and driving cost-reduction and process improvement opportunities across operational activities. Acting as a key interface between Zinfra and United Energy, ensuring strong client relationships and excellent service delivery. Ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of services to meet or exceed client expectations. Realising the implementation of safe work practices across the business and leading / assisting in the investigation of incidents. About You You’re a dedicated leader with a natural ability to guide teams and inspire improvement. With an in-depth understanding of electricity distribution, regulatory frameworks, and operational systems, you are proactive in ensuring compliance and safety. Your collaborative mindset, strategic approach, and innovative problem-solving skills drive meaningful impact. Required Skills and Experience Proven team leadership and operational improvement experience. In-depth knowledge of electricity distribution and HSE standards. Skilled in compliance auditing and regulatory management. Strong interpersonal and client management abilities. Proficiency in digital systems to enhance efficiency.
