A highly successful accountancy practice based in Taunton is searching for an Operational Practice Director to join this firm supporting the leadership team overseeing the general management of a wide range of operational, internal accounting/financial, HR and staff support responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to carve a key position supporting the leadership team ensuring the ongoing success and growth of this business as a pivotal, key hire. Client Details Based in Taunton, this leading accountancy practice is undergoing continued growth and planning for the firm's ongoing future success. Description As the Operational Practice Director, you will take on responsibilities across the range below: Review of internal accounts, payroll, internal bookkeeping, billing accounts and workflow management, reconciliations, and debt recovery. General management, IT systems, office facilities, and change management implementing improvements to systems and processes. Assisting with study needs for staffing, organising training, courses, and planning. Admin, HR, and Recruitment Support assistance, working with the wider staffing team providing support and guidance. Key higher-level administrative support to the Partners, including meeting minutes in board meetings, letters of engagement, etc. You will work closely with partners acting as key right-hand support, carving a key position within this growing and highly successful chartered firm of accountants. Profile For this Operational Practice Director role, you will be qualified across any of: ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA, or a QBE accountancy practice professional perhaps looking to move across from a more standard client service-focused role having developed your career to anything across the Client Manager/Senior Client Manager, or Associate Director/Director levels into this more operational, internal, 'practice management' key position. You will be looking for a challenging new career opportunity where you can play a key, lead role on this operational and internal side as the firm grows and develops in the future. Job Offer £60,000 - £80,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
