What to Expect...

Our Risk team is at the core of Raylo working across functions, products, and as we scale internationally, to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business is monitoring and controlling risk. People in the Risk team are among the first in the company to get involved in new business initiatives, from Operations, Supply Chain, through Finance to Customer Success.

We're looking for a Risk Manager to continue improving our enterprise risk management framework and governance structures. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you'll identify and mitigate risks, improve internal controls, and support our risk reporting. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, provide guidance to the team and enjoy challenging our processes to help drive improvements. What you'll do...

- Working with the first line of defence

to identify, assess, document, and regularly review risks of all types across the business - Provide second-line oversight

of risks and maintain enterprise risk management framework - Developing and implementing risk policies

and procedures, key risk indicators, and risk appetite statement - Monitoring risk against limits

and thresholds, producing reports for management and board - Evaluating and implementing risk management tools

and systems - Monitoring KRI breaches

and working with the business to resolve them within a set timeline - Providing guidance, support and training

to the business on risk management practices and governance - Establish and maintain effective internal control systems

to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure data integrity and security - Identifying, assessing, and mitigating third-party risks

identified via risk and control testing during onboarding, ongoing monitoring, and off-boarding processes - Defining third-party risk management policies , procedures, and playbooks - Stay updated on industry trends , regulatory changes, and emerging risks in consumer credit and asset finance, and adapt governance strategies accordingly - Help to foster a culture of compliance , ethics, and operational excellence through training and education programs

You'll succeed with...

-

3+ years of experience in operational or enterprise risk management

in banking, fintech or financial services consultancy - Experience in some or all

risk frameworks, audit & controls, risk monitoring & reporting, third-party risk management and information security -

Knowledge of financial regulations

that impact fintech operations (e.g. GDPR, Consumer Duty, AML, KYC) - High level of proficiency in

Excel -

Ability to leverage data

to monitor risk, ensure compliance and optimise governance processes -

Education to degree level , ideally STEM degree - Being curious and never accepting assumptions - An organised and methodological approach - Previous examples of interpreting and organising complexity
