Role Summary

Join Birmingham Airport’s dynamic team as an

Operational Analyst , where you'll play a vital role in providing data-driven insights into airport performance. You will be responsible for analysing and forecasting operational trends, supporting decision-making, and improving efficiency across key airport processes. This role involves working with large datasets, capacity models, and visualization tools to enhance planning and optimize resource allocation. Core Duties

Create and maintain detailed airport capacity models and simulations. Develop operational forecasting models for equipment and resource planning. Manage, process, and visualize data using

SQL, Power BI, and analytics tools

to support stakeholders. Undertake capacity assessments of key airport processes to identify areas for improvement. Model short-term and long-term operational scenarios to understand future capacity constraints. Analyse traffic statistics and performance data to drive continuous operational improvements. Experience Required

Proficiency in

Power BI, SQL, and data analytics

for reporting and forecasting. Highly numerate with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience with capacity planning, modeling, and data visualization. Ability to organise, prioritize workload, and work independently. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to support operational teams.
