Experienced Operations Assistant - Italian/ Spanish speaking
Location: London Bridge
Salary: £40,000- £45,000 + Bonus
Working Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (office-based, not remote)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Assistant to support the smooth running of our client’s European offices. This is not an entry-level position—we’re looking for candidates with solid operational experience who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced and impactful environment.
As part of a small, but innovative consultancy dedicated to championing fair markets and social justice through rigorous economic investigations and expert reports, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment with a meaningful purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee two of their office operations and maintain a professional, efficient working environment.
- Build and manage relationships with suppliers, including placing orders and researching new vendors.
- Supervise contractors and ensure the quality of service provided.
- Coordinate health and safety checks, as well as internal training sessions.
- Assist with website and intranet updates as required.
- Provide support with recruitment and HR-related tasks during team absences.
- Organize travel, meeting logistics, and team schedules.
Key Skills and Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in an operations or administrative role, supporting multiple teams.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in written and spoken Spanish or Italian.
- A degree or relevant post-A-level qualifications is preferred.
