Dynamic and professional Operations Director

required to drive efficiencies and both integrate and streamline existing divisions whilst managing and motivating a highly successful team. Our client has been established for more than 30 years and is a global market leader in the provision of the highest quality special purpose infrastructure solutions for supply throughout the world. As a result of continued success and an exciting and ongoing programme of strategic growth and restructuring, they are now seeking to recruit a dynamic and proactive Operations Director. The successful candidate will be tasked with shaping and continuously improving the processes of their operations department, including asset management, transport, warehouse operations, and project management. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Mentoring and motivating divisional teams to achieve productivity and engagement. Building and maintaining relationships with all department heads to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals. Creating interdepartmental collaboration within all areas of the operations department, through excellent resource planning and ensuring resource efficiencies are achieved when working in seasonal peaks and troughs of the business. Analysing existing operational processes and performance, and providing visibility of goals, progress, and obstacles, along with recommending solutions for improvement where necessary. Implementing strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity. Working closely with heads of departments in the development of financial and budgetary plans. Evaluating risks and leading quality assurance efforts as well as H&S compliance. Working at Group level to assist in developing an ERP system fit for purpose to meet the demands of the growing and integrated business. Understanding current operational and management KPIs and recommending adjustments for maximum productivity for all operational departments. Reporting monthly to Directors on performance, efficiencies, and challenges. 5 years’ experience

gained in a senior operational leadership role with proven success in managing varying sized teams across multiple locations. With exceptional organisational and leadership skills and comprehensive knowledge of data analytics and reporting, you will possess an analytical mind with a solid problem-solving aptitude, along with outstanding communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, and excellent financial planning and numerical skills.
