Job Summary
The Director of Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the organisation. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional management skills to enhance operational efficiency and ensure that all departments work cohesively towards achieving the company's goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operations management and demonstrate an ability to lead teams effectively.
Duties
Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the organisation's objectives.
Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring that processes are efficient and effective.
Oversee 5 Nursing homes.
Lead, mentor, and motivate department heads to achieve performance targets.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Identify areas for improvement within operational processes and implement necessary changes.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of operations across the organisation.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Qualifications
Proven experience in an operations management role, preferably at a senior level.
Must have experience within the Nursing home sector.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions based on findings.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all levels of the organisation.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong critical thinking abilities.
Relevant degree or professional qualification in business administration or a related field is desirable but not essential.
