A well established business in South-Wales, Swansea, is now looking to appoint an Operations Director. With a proven customer base, a tidy P&L and growth plans to boot, this could provide you with a great senior leadership opportunity.
Your new role As the Operations Director, you will be reporting to the Managing Director whilst overseeing around 300 employees indirectly. Within this role, you will be expected to manage a budget in excess of £10m and lead the end to end operational activities of the business. You will be expected to react within the market whilst working towards long-term strategies set out by the Exec team. As the Operations Director, you will be fundamental in the identification of cost-saving exercises including efficiency improvements.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in your application for the Operations Director vacancy, you must have a proven track record of managing large scale teams within a Manufacturing or Logistics business previously. In addition to this, ideally you'll be degree educated and hold either an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification. You must have strong P&L experience to accompany your budget creation / management skills.
What you'll get in return As the Operations Director, you'll be paid an annual salary of up to £105,000, which will be dependent upon your experience. In addition to this salary, you'll be given a car allowance of £12,000, and you'll join the senior leadership bonus scheme.
