As the Editing & Post Production, Operations Executive you will be responsible for the design and delivery of all Media Operations edit strategies across a wide range of content. You will oversee all editing staff and activity in the Visual group, including News, Postproduction, Digital and World Service – delivering long-form programmes and content to platforms such as iPlayer, the main BBC bulletins, Social feeds and re-versioning. This role involves close communication and collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders. Main Responsibilities
Serve as a highly visible and trusted leader, focusing on effective management and enhancing staff engagement. Oversee the department’s operational staff, managing performance, training, and development. Collaborate with production partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality content. Align with divisional and departmental objectives to formulate viable and strategic business plans. Build and maintain relationships with recognized trade unions to ensure a cooperative and constructive industrial relations climate. Effectively manage and control the team budget. Stay abreast of industry developments and new technology. Are you the right candidate?
