Key job responsibilities This internship offers an educational opportunity where you will apply your analytical skills and bias for action to complete an impactful project. This project will support your learning in the Finance Analyst function and contribute to the team's success, ultimately benefiting our customers. Your responsibilities may include: Gathering data and analysing trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved efficiency. Assisting with financial reporting, auditing, forecasting, and building KPI dashboards to support business unit decision-making. Conduct financial assessments to support data-driven decision-making and influence final resolutions towards company and customer's benefit. Gaining hands-on experience in improving data accuracy and automating tools and processes. Engaging with Amazonians for personal and professional development, and expanding your professional network.

Internship Start Dates across the year:

We are hiring interns to start anytime from January through September 2025. Each month, we'll hold 1-2 onboarding days for new hires.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Currently in your penultimate or final year and working towards a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or a similar discipline. Eligible to complete a full-time internship of 3-6 months. Highly proficient in both spoken and written English (Common European Framework of Reference C1). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. macros, pivots, lookups, VBA).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong problem-solving, data driven and analytical skills, with the ability to identify process improvements and innovative solutions. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with others. Demonstrated curiosity, proactivity, and willingness to take on challenges in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment. Be vocal in discussions in favour of the business and the customers, and manage to convince stakeholders. Data visualization skills, such as proficiency in Tableau, QlikView, PowerPivot, or MicroStrategy. Oracle, VBA and MySQL/SQL knowledge.
