Operations Manager . This role will involve managing and coordinating the productivity of all manufacturing staff to meet key production metrics, including throughput, changeover times, minimising downtime, and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the plant meets customer quality, service, and safety goals through effective management of the manufacturing unit. Lead and manage assigned operations manufacturing and/or support functions at the site. Oversee and direct all project teams to develop and implement strategic change within the plant. Monitor and resolve incidents/accidents, ensuring the correct use of specified PPE. Establish strong working relationships with all departments to ensure cohesive delivery of budgeted metrics and key performance indicators. Ensure that material delivery and returns align with good manufacturing practice standards, including correct labelling, wrapping, storage, and transportation. Manage resources for each shift based on the production schedule and maintain control over overtime and other production costs. Implement and improve standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in production and safety. Take ownership of product procurement and stock contracts. Ensure site uptime is maximised through an effective preventative maintenance programme. Key Requirements: 5 years’ experience operating at a similar level within a manufacturing facility. Proven track record in good manufacturing practices and lean principles. Ability to collaborate with design teams to optimise manufacturing processes and ensure on-time delivery. Excellent man-management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Passionate about meeting both customer and company expectations. IT literate.
