Operations & Maintenance Director

Operations & Maintenance Director focuses on to become the company’s champion of operational excellence – continuously challenging the plant to improve performance and efficiency.

What the role involves

• To become the Company’s Champion of Operational Excellence – continuously challenging the plant to improve performance and efficiency.
• Works closely with Plant Managers and Operations Managers Onsite to manage and rectify performance issues.
• Engages with the Stakeholders, Environment Agency, HSE and other relevant industry bodies to ensure best practice is achieved on all sites.
• Works with the SHEQ department to advise on operational matters as required for the implementation of relevant Quality Standards, such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001.
• Supports the design development of new plants to ensure that key operational requirements are included within the design process.
• Leads the development of Reliability, Availability and Maintenance (RAM) strategies.

• Alfanar Energy UK is developing the >£2 billion Lighthouse Green Fuels second-generation Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) project in Teesside.
• With engineering design nearing completion and government SAF legislation advancing, it’s an exciting time to join us as our project gathers pace.
• Take the lead on the Management of Plant & Operational matters, and display strong leadership and technical guidance.
