We are recruiting on behalf of a market leader in bespoke exterior steel fabricated products, delivering excellence across the UK with over 150 concurrent projects. About the Role: As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of the company's operations from order to delivery, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability. You will be responsible for: Developing and Implementing Strategies : Create operational strategies to increase capacity, drive growth, and achieve business objectives. Managing Daily Operations : Oversee design, purchasing, scheduling, project management, and installations to ensure seamless coordination. Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisations. Team Leadership : Lead and inspire a team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Performance Monitoring : Monitor key performance indicators and metrics, developing action plans for improvement. Collaboration : Work closely with other functional leaders to ensure operations are aligned with overall business goals. Requirements Requirements: A proven track record of success with at least 5 years of experience in an operations or general management role within a fast-paced, £15M+ construction-related project management business. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. A deep understanding of business operations and best practices. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in steel fabrication would be beneficial but not essential. Why Join Our Client?
