Monday to Friday – Days The Company My Client, a market-leading chemical manufacturer to major blue-chip companies, is looking to expand its senior team at its Widnes manufacturing plant. The company is an extremely well-established business, with over 150 years of experience within their chosen field of specialization and has manufacturing capabilities worldwide with over 1000 employees. Key Skills Degree Qualified in Engineering or Process Manufacturing Previous Senior Management Experience within Production Chemical or Process Background is Preferred The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operational production & engineering on site, delivering focused manufacturing management with an emphasis on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing efficiencies in all areas on site. The ideal candidate will come from a chemical process operations management background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be able to motivate, develop and lead teams of production/quality and engineering personnel to ensure all production is delivered on time to strict quality standards. You will need to have a full working knowledge of H&S and Quality Process systems within a chemical manufacturing plant. You will be the focus of all operations on site and will be dealing with all levels within this large group from shop floor to senior management and director level. On a day-to-day basis, you will report directly to the Site Director, which will give you a fantastic opportunity to develop your own career path to a senior management role within this supportive and growing organization.
