An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our flight operations team as an Operations Officer. In this role, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our flights by coordinating with various departments, managing flight schedules, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations. Main Responsibilities: Flight Planning & Dispatch:

Provide crew with flight briefs and operational flight information. ATC Coordination:

Submit and update ATC flight plans with authorities and air traffic control agencies, including filing or delaying as necessary. Flight Watch:

Monitor and manage daily flight operations, maintain situational awareness, record aircraft movements promptly, and advise relevant stakeholders of any disruptions or irregularities without delay. Weather and NOTAM Monitoring:

Monitor weather and NOTAMs, advising relevant stakeholders on issues likely to affect aircraft operations. Liaison:

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Duty Time Monitoring:

Ensure Flight Time Limitations (FTLs) are not exceeded and take appropriate steps when disruptions may result in FTL violations. Crew Logistics:

Amend or cancel crew transport and hotel bookings as required, ensuring associated changes are communicated appropriately. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a long-haul airline operations. Strong understanding of aviation regulations and safety. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks. Proficiency in airline operations software and tools (experience with PPS flight planning and PDC Ops/Crewing software is a definite advantage). Right to live and work in the UK – sponsorship is not available. Ability to pass Company background and criminal records checks. Please Note: This position is based at Bournemouth Airport and involves shift work, which may include days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
