As part of Hampshire County Council’s Countryside Service, Staunton Farm is a busy family-orientated visitor attraction set within a beautiful heritage setting. Due to our ongoing growth, we have a vacancy for an Operations Officer to ensure Staunton Farm runs smoothly and safely. This important position is responsible for all operational matters as expected of a medium sized farm attraction. This hands-on varied role covers routine inspections, compliance with corporate policy and localised procedures and ensures families, especially children, can enjoy the facilities in an engaging but safe way. You will have a natural curiosity to identify ways to make things better, an ability to learn new systems and to know where to find information when needed. You will focus on continuous improvement with our internal processes while providing a structured and rewarding environment for colleagues. To be successful you will need experience working within an operational environment and have a structured approach to work. We will require you to work flexible hours, have a ‘can do’ attitude with an outgoing personality and have good attention to detail.
