The Operations Supervisor's main responsibility is ensuring production is carried out successfully in a safe and efficient manner which meets the required specifications and quality standards. This will be predominantly a supervision role, focusing on continuous monitoring of the front-line operations in a positive, helpful manner within each sector of the operations. Your role will work closely with the Operations Coordinator daily to plan and control the workflow of the operations and scheduled targets required for the business. As the Operations Supervisor, you will plan and relay requirements to the Operations Coordinator in advance. This includes paint, consumables, materials, and equipment parts servicing. The role guarantees all duties/tasks are carried out in accordance with general trade practices and relevant specifications. The Operations Supervisor is to work proactively to improve customer satisfaction, quality, and safety and is required to work in accordance with VIP Coatings Ltd policies and procedures while always maintaining a safe workplace. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervision of staff to ensure work is completed in an efficient, timely, and safe manner. Coordinating workflow requirements with staff, subcontractors, and suppliers. Liaison with the Operations Coordinator regarding the ordering of materials to meet requirements and specifications. Supervision of all items going in and out of the workshop. Supervision of all QA standards maintained. Supervision of all Health and Safety requirements. Contribute to the identification and minimization of organizational risks and hazards. Promote a safe working environment and a culture of safe and responsible practices, behaviors, and attitudes. Equipment Care Management. The competencies and personal behaviors expected in this role are: A positive, approachable, ‘can do’ attitude that is adaptable to change. Reliable and consistent, with great communication and follow-through. An exceptional regard for health and safety. Extra hours will be required to meet production and processes.
