About us: Penta was founded in 1998 by five people (hence the name, Penta). With a heritage in manufacturing production tooling for an international computer manufacturer, the team developed its skills to encompass delivering for the aerospace, marine, and medical industries amongst others. Penta gained ship-to-stock status with a major aerospace OEM in 2012, having attained a better than 99% quality performance for two years, and has maintained this standard ever since. In 2021, Penta started investing in new premises, people, and capital equipment, including fully automated 5-axis machinery. We've doubled the size of our facility, and this investment represents our progression toward our Core Target of becoming “the engineering company where everyone wants to work and who everyone wants to buy from.” In 2022, Penta won the Business Growth award at the Central South Business Awards ceremony - recognition of the hard work and dedication of the whole Penta team. Operations Team Leader - The role: As the Operations Team Leader at Penta, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the day-to-day operations of our production floor. You'll lead a skilled team, ensuring we meet our production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality. You will coordinate production schedules, improve operational efficiency, and drive the team to continuously improve both individual and collective performance. You'll collaborate with the management team to support ongoing growth and ensure that our customers receive the best possible service.
