Location - Dartford Salary - Up to £120,000 DoE ACES is an independent provider of NHS eye care outpatient and surgical services that are delivered in the community. Working with state-of-the-art technologies we support the NHS, providing patients with the highest standards of clinical care. We provide a range of services including Cataract, YAG and SLT Laser Treatment, Glaucoma, Oculoplastics, Vitreoretinal and General Ophthalmology. Due to expansion, ACES have an exciting new opportunities for Ophthalmologists to join our amazing and supportive team in our Dartford clinic. This is a great opportunity to join a growing and developing business and benefit from our fantastic fully funded training and development programs. You will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team working alongside a range of sub-specialists, providing timely care to patients. Roles include carrying out virtual and general outpatient, pre-operative and post-operative glaucoma consultations, assess the suitability of glaucoma patients for treatment and managing patients according to group clinical directives and national policies. The undertaking of SLT laser clinics will be part of the role. Consultant Ophthalmologists with experience of MIGS and with experience of performing the range of procedures open to glaucoma patients are sought. The ideal candidate will:
Be a consultant ophthalmologist. Be articulate, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be confident and organised. Be happy to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. All clinicians are supported by way of our on hand clinical services team of experienced eye care professionals, clinical leads, and excellent local support teams.
