Monday-Friday with one late night on a Wednesday until 7pm (you will be given an early finish or late start following an evening shift). Location:

Within this role the successful applicant will be required to travel between the 3 Forward Leeds sites as and when required (Kirkgate, Irford House and Armley).

About the role... An exciting opportunity to join our newly funded OHID OTC/POM team!

The successful candidate will hold a service user caseload, supporting them to make positive changes to their opioid/opiate based OTC/POM use. Successful candidates will build a network with local GPs, pharmacies, and healthcare services with the aim of increasing numbers into treatment and successful treatment completions. Successful candidates will be an integral member of the dynamic multi-agency team developing comprehensive and tailored individual interventions. The successful candidate will adopt a trauma informed approach to improve individual health outcomes while working alongside motivated multi-disciplinary teams to support tailored individual interventions. Assertive, community outreach and home visits are part of this role; a driving licence and car access is desirable. About you...

The successful candidate will have knowledge of opioid/opiates medications and addiction. Experience in assessment, PSI, knowledge of the clinical interventions required to support, risk management, recovery planning, therapeutic interventions and be able to support clients to address their substance use. They will have excellent record keeping and communication skills and have confidence in their abilities to support other staff members where needed. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential for the role.

The salary advertised above demonstrates the full earning potential for this role, starting salaries will allow for pay progression within the pay band.
