We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join our thriving school community in Greenwich from January to July 2024. About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to work with a vibrant and motivated Year 5 class. You'll deliver engaging lessons that foster curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning while supporting the academic and personal growth of every child. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum. Assess and monitor student progress, ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff, promoting a sense of community. Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school ethos. We are looking for a teacher who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 5 (desirable but not essential). Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Is committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom. Has a passion for education and a willingness to contribute to the school's community and values.
