Permanent, Full time Location: Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre, Slough, SL3 8AQ Royal Mail International Operations is based at HWDC (Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre), one of the UK largest, and most efficient automated Hubs in the UK. Worldwide import and exports items are processed through HWDC, which operates 24/7 to strict customs and aviation security specifications and connects over 195 countries worldwide. The Resourcing Manager plays a vital role in ensuring efficient staffing for the HWDC and ILC (International Logistics Centre) operational functions, responsible for aligning work hours with workload and resource planning. About the Role

In this role, you’ll ensure staff resource planning (by work area, shift, and day) is cost-effective, facilitated in line with traffic forecasting and monitor staff absence and leave. Working in partnership with the operational management team, you’ll generate workable solutions to the work-hour mix problem, ensuring that the correct skills base is in place to resource the operation. Other Accountabilities:

Undertake all legislative requirements for the monitoring and implementation of the Working Time Directive to ensure legal requirements are met. Have responsibility for all databases held on all systems within the Resource unit that relate to employees to ensure they comply with the Data Protection Act and with Royal Mail standards. Provide the data and the analysis to be used in the daily production review (plan vs actual) and to challenge and maintain the integrity of the base data and the reported variances (e.g. planned vs actual). Play a vital part in supporting the Christmas resourcing provision. Line manage a team of 4, including all HR matters (performance, appraisal, absence management). The position is based on site at HWDC, with no option for remote/hybrid working. Attendance:

Monday to Friday, 22:30 – 06:48, with one early shift per month (10:00 start). A degree of flexibility is required to meet operational demands. Closing Date:
