This large, well-established and well-known optician is now looking for an Optical Assistant to join their team in the Camberley area. You will be joining a large team of 40+ in a professional yet clinical environment. This opportunity will be working full time, either 8:15 am to 5:00 pm or 9:30 am to 6:00 pm including one weekend day.
Compensation:
Competitive salary depending on experience - £24,000 to £27,000. Bonus scheme - profit-based bonus (Approx £50 per month). Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant: Dispensing spectacles to all levels. Conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. Carrying out frame styling, adjustments, collections, and giving patients advice on best options. Reception duties and general admin to help with the smooth running of the practice. Requirements of the Optical Assistant: Minimum of 12 months' experience within optics and able to dispense to all levels. Able to work as part of a team and communicate well.
