They have a number of practices all over the Essex/East of England area, all with an outstanding reputation for designer products, modern high-end looking practices, and an outstanding first-class patient-focused service that is guaranteed in each and every one of their practices. Optical Assistant This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Optical Assistant to join this high-end, modern independent where all practices are equipped with the latest equipment and have an excellent reputation in the local community. Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant Your role will be to take on dispensing with an emphasis on customer service, and the continued growth of developing the business and client portfolio moving forward. You will be a fashion-conscious and consummate professional where dispensing comes as second nature. A passion for optics is a given as well as customer service with a drive to meet the high expectations of the clients. As well as dispensing and building rapport with patients, you will also be required to take on administrative tasks that will help keep a smooth workflow of the practice. Requirements of the Optical Assistant You must have the drive, passion, and confidence in your own ability to work with the variety of teams within the group. You must be able to dispense to all levels. Must be open to being on the shop floor helping patients as well as taking on vitally important admin tasks. Be able to work full time, 40 hours to include Saturdays, no Sundays or Bank holidays. Hours would be 9 am till 5:30 pm (5 pm finish on Saturdays). Ideally be a driver and have access to a car. Compensation for the Optical Assistant For this role, my client is offering a competitive salary, as well as travel allowances to cover the travel to the different practices. Training and development opportunities within the group. Additional incentives to be discussed at interview. You will be entitled to standard annual holiday plus a free pair of prescription glasses plus many more benefits to discuss.
