You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on the best options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role, helping with the smooth running of the practice. Requirements of the Optical Assistant
As an Optical Assistant within this practice, you will work on the shop floor in the dispensing team. You will need to be able to dispense to all levels comfortably. You should have a proven track record and be able to thrive in busy environments. A key requirement of this role is that you must be able to work weekends (either Saturday or Sunday).
