Are you based in or around Bournemouth? Are you looking to work within a high-end, independent practice? Are you an experienced Practice Manager within the optical industry? This independent group of opticians started out as a family-run business, and now with over 35 stores, including fully owned, franchised, and joint venture partnerships, they pride themselves on being a high-quality eyecare brand, providing personalised, high-quality service to their customers, supporting both optics and audiology. As a Practice Manager, you'll manage the practice and the team within it. You will be able to use your experience to drive the practice to new heights, hit targets, and break records, whilst working closely with your team to support and develop them, ultimately helping them progress. This group of opticians prides itself on ensuring customers receive excellent service, and whilst managing the practice and increasing turnover for the branch, you'll also be keeping staff happy as well as the patients coming through the door. Salary is up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience, 35 days annual leave, a managerial bonus, and the freedom to manage the practice using your own methods. Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager

As a Practice Manager, you will oversee the team whilst working to store targets, providing training and leading from the front. As well as primarily being a Practice Manager, you will also be responsible for working as one of the lead dispensers within the practice. You will handle the majority of dispensing, and you will use your expertise and clinical experience to troubleshoot and deal with any issues as they arise. As a senior member of the team, you will help junior members of the team and keep them up to date with the latest optical developments. Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager

To apply for this position, you will need to have previous management experience within an opticians. Ideally, you should be a fully qualified Dispensing Optician; however, this is not essential. You will be able to think of new ideas, outside the box, and implement them into a business. Motivated and driven to perform tasks to the best of your ability, yet empathetic towards others and happy to support your team. You will be an outgoing and approachable person with excellent communication skills and the ability to think on your feet, solve problems, and offer solutions for your customers.
