Position: Optometrist Location: Bishop Auckland Salary: £62,000 per annum, subject to experience Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, part-time also considered Experience level: GOC registered Optometrist Other Benefits Include: A great bonus scheme 33 days holiday, plus your birthday off Private Medical and Dental cover Regular weekends off About The Role: Specsavers in Bishop Auckland are looking for a new Optometrist to join their team. You will be working with other Optometrists and the wider team, utilizing 10 test rooms, Phoropters, and OCT. Your pre-screens will also be completed for you, giving you the time to spend with your patients to deliver world-class service. Our store is easily accessible via public transport; the train station is approximately a 10-minute walk, or if you are using a bus, the stop is a short walk from the store. Our Optometrists are an integral part of our store management team, so we’re keen to get you up to speed outside the test room too. With ILM courses, Pre-Reg supervision, and the Specsavers Partnership scheme (Pathway) all available to explore, along with your clinical expertise, this will stand you in good stead if you choose to become a store director yourself one day.
