Optometrist Position Experience of working in an independent environment would be an advantage but not essential, as is a willingness to be a part of a new team with all aspects of working in opticians covered.
They are situated in a busy part of the City with good footfall. The company offers a wide selection of high-end products and services, and importantly, this is not a hard sell environment.
This is a 3 test room practice working with trial frames, Heidelberg OCT, Humphrey fields machines, as well as digitized records.
Responsibilities of the Optometrist Undertake 45-minute eye tests and contact lens assessments and have a professional handover to ensure the clients receive the best products for their needs. All appropriate suggestions and recommendations are passed on, as well as having your pre-screens done for you.
You will work full-time 9am – 6pm Monday – Saturday with one day off during the week and flexibility with Saturdays off.
Working with a small team of 12 to ensure the patient is getting the best care possible.
Requirements for the Optometrist The role requires you to be GOC registered with full CET accreditations completed. An advantage would be to hold certificates for extended services such as MECS, etc., but not essential. Experience working within an independent practice would be beneficial but not essential.
Compensation for the Optometrist On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of £60,000 – £70,000 dependent on experience, with professional fees paid. 28 days’ holidays including bank holidays. Free on-site parking. Team building days out once per month including dinners, lunches, drinks, and bowling days!
