Salary up to GBP42,000 (GBP60,000 FTE)

We are looking for a part-time Optometrist to join our fabulous team in Morpeth. The rota will be week 1: Monday, Tuesday and either a Wednesday or a Thursday and week 2: Monday, Tuesday and either a Wednesday or a Thursday and alternate Saturdays (and no Sundays).

45 minute testing times.

Closed on a Sunday.

Salary up to GBP60,000 (pro rata for part-time hours).

Although we are national, we are not a huge chain which means we understand the importance of local relationships and the power of choice. We have the latest diagnostic equipment, the latest technological advances in contact lenses, spectacle lenses and frames, and the latest fashions.

At Bayfields, we are passionate about the services we provide our clients in Morpeth. Our eye tests are thorough, which is why we only employ highly trained Optometrists to provide our clients with the best quality care. You will provide a

45-minute eye exam

that gives you time to really understand your clients' needs and lifestyle and then recommend solutions that fit best to that lifestyle by following the GOC and College of Optometry guidelines.

Alongside having your Optometry Degree and being GOC registered, you will have excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to build strong relationships with your team members, peers, and clients. Accuracy and attention to detail are vital for this role in line with making clear recommendations and clinical decisions.
