Optometrist – Sandbach

Optometrist Location: Sandbach, CW11 1AB Salary: GBP65k per annum (pro rata for part time hours) We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Sandbach covering the following rota: Week 1: 3 days / 24 hours per week (Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 9am - 5:30pm) Week 2: 4 days / 30.5 hours (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9am - 5:30pm and Saturday 9am - 4pm) We will pay your professional fees (GOC and professional indemnity which is currently the AOP - pro rata if part time). Our eye tests are thorough, which is why we only employ highly trained Optometrists to provide our clients with the best quality care and getting to know your clients in more depth. You will provide a 45-minute eye exam which gives you time to really understand your Clients' needs and lifestyle and then recommend solutions that fit best to that lifestyle by following the GOC and College of Optometry guidelines. The role could also include 1-2 days per week of hospital contact lens clinic. Alongside having your Optometry Degree and being GOC registered, you will have excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to build strong relationships with your team members, peers, and clients. Accuracy and attention to detail are vital for this role in line with being able to make clear recommendations and clinical decisions.
