Optometrist – Southport

Position: Optometrist Location: Southport Salary: £62,000 (subject to experience) Working hours: Full-Time, Part-Time applications considered Experience level: GOC registered Optometrist Other Benefits Include 5 weeks holiday, plus bank holidays Regular weekend off Store support if you don't have MECs, GRR or Cataract accreditation Private Medical and Dental Cover Pension contribution Death in Service About The Role Specsavers in Southport are looking for an Optometrist to join their team. You will be working with 2 other Optometrists and a pre-reg that will need occasional supervision only when the Optometrist Director is not in. There are 5 test rooms in total, with 5 clinics and a CLO clinic, usually seeing appointments such as MECs, Cataract, EOS and GRR; if you don't have the accreditations, the store will support you with this. There may be some contact lens work, but this usually is handled by the CLO and Trainee CLO. All test rooms are fitted with OCT and Phoropters. The store is split so you have retail downstairs and clinical upstairs, with 4 clinical staff to support clinics. You can also have the opportunity to work alternate Saturdays or Sundays.
