Responsibilities of the Optometrist:
You will have a testing time of 25 minutes with Optical assistants completing pre-screening. You will be clinically sensitive to the needs of the patient while understanding the commercial requirements of the business. You will demonstrate your commercial understanding by making suitable recommendations in accordance with the patients' prescription during the consulting room handover stage. You will be on hand to answer any difficult questions and share your clinical knowledge with patients and the team. It is paramount that you integrate into this small close-knit team and demonstrate a real passion for your role. Requirements of the Optometrist:
To apply for this position, you will need to be a fully qualified optometrist who is GOC registered and up to date with all CET requirements. You should be hardworking and clinically minded, passionate about customer service and patient care. A successful career to date with great interpersonal skills, knowledge, and expertise in your specialist field is essential. It is vitally important that you have a flexible working attitude, ensuring that the patient is always put first. Compensation for the Optometrist:
