We have a fantastic opportunity for an Optometrist at Boots Opticians Wimbledon.
We are a Centre of Excellence freestanding store with Hearing Care located within the newly regenerated Wimbledon Quarter. For convenience we're only a few minutes walk from the Wimbledon train and tram station and we also benefit from discounted parking.
We have 5 testing rooms and also benefit with cutting edge equipment such as Phoropters and OCT. You'll also receive support from our team of 24, including 2 Dispensing Opticians, 1 Contact Lens Optician and 2 Resident Optometrists.
About the role
As an Optometrist with us you'll be providing excellent customer and patient care. Working alongside the Practice Manager, Optical Teams and Clinical Governance Optometrists. You’ll create a culture where everyone is passionate about doing the right thing.
Using your passion for delivering patient care you'll work with colleagues to deliver a positive customer journey.
Bringing your vibrant personality into the day to day running of the practice – working with your colleagues to ensure everything runs smoothly
Building longstanding relationships – not only with colleagues and customers but with healthcare professionals in the local community
What you’ll need to have
Fully qualified / soon to be GOC registered Optometrist
Additional registration with the relevant NHS body
Fluent speaking English
Passion for patient care
