Job Title : Oracle Fusion Release Manager
Location : Swindon (1-2 days per week on-site)

About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced
Oracle Fusion Release Manager
on a 12-month contract to stabilise their Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM, and HCM implementation. This role will be instrumental in planning, coordinating, and overseeing key software releases, ensuring seamless deployment with minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Release Planning and Coordination : Develop and manage detailed release schedules for Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM, and HCM components, working closely with the client’s project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables. Deployment Management : Supervise all phases of the release lifecycle, including pre-release testing, deployment, and post-release validation, with clear rollback procedures in place. Team Development and Leadership : Lead a team responsible for release coordination, build and configuration management, and environments management, while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Stakeholder Communication : Act as the main point of contact for release-related communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders and coordinating post-release reviews to support continuous improvement. Risk and Issue Management : Identify and mitigate release-related risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure compliance with the client’s change management policies.
Experience and Qualifications:
Proven experience in release management, ideally with Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM, and HCM applications. Strong project management skills, with a background in SDLC and agile methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage multiple stakeholders. Experience with release management tools (e.g., ConfigSnapshot) and automated deployment tools is beneficial. Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is preferred.
